Running a team of AI agents: experiences, learnings and a demo of the setup at Ship26

Six AI agents, each with its own role and its own goals, now handle a growing share of the work behind two companies. One of them runs Ship26's website. It puts new crew on the crew page and stories in the Journal, writes the talk flyers, and looks after how the site is found by search engines and cited by AI assistants, all from a text message (this page included).
Chris Allard Griessmann built the fleet to work the way an organisation does. Chris owns the website, the agent owns what's on it, and Xaver Walser sends his stories straight to the agent. Oliver Angélil prepares the Wednesday talks with the same agent. The agents message each other, and when something is about to slip, they nudge the people too.
A project board holds it all together. Every agent reads its tasks in Asana, the same place the humans do, so everyone can see what's in progress and what's done. The controls live on that board too. It's also where a coding agent picks up the fleet's continuous improvement, and a human signs off on every change before it ships. For Chris, a project management tool is key to staying in control for the right decisions.

About the speaker
Chris has spent most of his career building systems and automations inside organisations. As a consultant, he built the reporting for everything under the CFO's responsibility, so finance and sales teams could make decisions on data that moved and updated itself. Today, besides building Ship26, he runs a consultancy that helps companies set up AI systems: automation with a brain packed inside it that can reason, recommend, and take actions. His aim is to automate as much as possible, so the mental capacity can go back to the core business.
